You know, one of the most important conversations we ever have is with ourselves.
And most of the time, we are doing negative self-talk.
Back in August 2021, I had enough of this.
Every time I caught my mind indulging in some negativity, I would flip the script.
I am feeling lazy. - turned into - I am feeling tired.
This article is not up to my standard. - turned into - There is always scope for improvement.
Why doesn't he understand me? - turned into - That's how he is. That's his capacity.
I don't know what I am writing. - turned into - Let's see where this takes me.
We have the whole world and all sorts of media telling us how wrong, incomplete, incompetent we are.
We don't need to add to that mix.
Since I flipped the script, I am more at ease with myself.
I don't fight with myself. I don't fight what's not in my control.
I just do my best for the day and leave the rest to take care of itself.
This way, I am more at peace.

It will take time to get used to it, but slow and steady, you'll start enjoying your company.
